Police Arrest 2 for kidnapping boy 11yrs

Police in Ganta, Nimba County have arrested a 33year old woman and a man for allegedly kidnapping an 11 year old boy in the people street community in Ganta.

A police charge sheet said suspects Mamie Sumo and Junior Brown 30, were arrested after they allegedly handed the boy over to unknown men armed with cutlasses and other dangerous weapons took the boy away from them.

The boy was taken around 5 AM whilst sleeping in the same room with the two suspects.

Family members told our Nimba County correspondent that the two suspects were residing in the same house with the 11year old boy parents in Ganta at the time of the incident.

The suspects were later taken to the Central Prison in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.
