Pres Boakai dedicates Gbarpolu County water supply system today.

President Joseph Boikai is expected to dedicate a newly constructed water supply system in Gbapolu County today, February 26, 2025.
This will be the first government-built water supply system in the county, allowing residents to receive clean water directly in their homes.
Making the disclosure on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, the Managing Director of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC), Mohammed Ali, informed a press conference that after the dedication ceremony, residents will be immediately required to register with LWSC to get connected to the system if they want water in their homes.
He stated that the Gbapolu water supply system is100% government-sponsored project, and they urge the government to continue funding such important projects.
Meanwhile, Ali mentioned that LWSC has completed studies for water systems in Greenville and Zwedru. He said the work on these systems is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
