Presidential hopeful William Tuider names running mate in Ganta

The political leader of the Democratic National Allegiance (DNA) William W. Tuider, has announced Mr. Jonah Dumoe as his running mate.

Making the pronouncement in Ganta, Nimba County at the DNA first national convention, Mr. Tuider said

Mr. Jonah Dumoe coming onboard will enable the party to deliver Liberia from the bad leadership of President George Weah.

According to him, the party is committed to providing quality education, agricultural, health, road network better salaries and living condition if elected in October.

The first national convention in Ganta brought together supporters from all 15 counties of Liberia.

According to the DNA leader, Liberians are not benefiting from the national resources, but his administration will help to boost sectors of the economy that will enable citizens to benefit from national government.

Delegates at the convention said Mr. Tuider secures tough nomination from the Democratic National Allegiance after a behind the scene fight when consensus was formed to elect him as standard bearer of the party.

They said the standard bearer does not only have charisma, but most importantly global connection and the vision to transform Liberia through consensus building, innovation and job creation.

However, Tuider urged DNA partisans not to put themselves first but rather the party, which he said is for all Liberians.

Responding, Mr. Dumoe accepted his selection, and promised to help improve citizens’ condition.

He also promised to fight corruption and bad labour practices under a DNA-led government. Editing by Jonathan Browne
