PTA thanks Boakai

The National Parents Teachers Association Network of Liberia (NAPTANOL) has expressed thanks to Vice President Joseph N. Boakai for fulfilling promise been made by him to with the network.


During the official launch of NAPTANOL on 21 July at the St. Peter Lutheran Campus between 14th and 15th Streets, Sinkor, the UP Standard Bearer gave US$300.00 and additionally promised a set of two Desktop Computers and a check of US$5,000 for the payment of one year office rent including office furniture.

Speaking to the NewDawn on Wednesday, 20 December, the president of the group Mr. J. Mason Saweler said on 12 December, they received two desktop computers and a check of US$5,000 that were promised by VP Boakai.

Mr.Saweler thanks the office of VP Boakai for his kind gesture to the Network and promises that whatever received shall be used for its purpose. According to Mr. Saweler, international and national NGOS, including all the 20 Presidential Candidates who took part in the just ended October 10 Presidential and Representative election were written but none attended the launch or even made any contribution.

“We thank Amb. Boakai for his pivotal role played in ensuring transformation in Liberia, most especially in the education sector”, he says. Mr. Saweler calls on others to follow suit, saying a five – year plan was launched by the Network to go across the 15 Counties here.
