Rep. candidate laments poor leadership

Montserrado County District # 4 representative candidate Dr. John Flomo, Jr. says Liberians are suffering today due to the lack of good leadership. Launching his campaign at Bernard’s Farm in Wein Community, Paynesville Dr. Flomo claimed that the past six years the district has not experienced good leadership, resulting to its un-development bad roads conditions, and increasing number of ghettos.

Dr. Flomo accuses the incumbent of allegedly running the district without accountability, and abandoning the district council. He laments that throughout Montserrado District #4, there is no electricity and safe drinking water, saying in the district like other parts of Monrovia, people are still drinking from creeks in this modern day.

Having made claims that over 50 percent of the youth in District #4 are out of school, and women are struggling to survive, Dr. Flomo says the district needs a leader who can think, has a good heart, caring, loving, and has a moral authority.

He warns his supporters to watch out “wolves in sheep clothing.”Dr. Flomo who is contesting on the ticket of the Movement for Economics empowerment, (MOVEE), promises that when elected, education will be his priority, promising to introduce students exchange program within the district to get students go to another country for studies.

The formal Bong County Technical College President claims he has spent huge sums of money on repairing of the district roads, giving market women loan, and providing 2,000 scholarships for students within the district.
