Rep. Morris seeks more investment in Education

Montserrado County District#1 Representative, Lawrence Morris, calls for more attention to education in the country.

He stresses that it is important that government and other stakeholders in the country invest more in education.

Rep. Morris reminds that education is the bedrock to growth and development of any nation.
Speaking recently at the launch of an educational scheme in Montserrado County district#3, he reiterates it is vital to invest in education.

Representative Morris notes the problem Liberia currently faces is lack of education amongst its citizenry.

According to him, when the citizens are well informed and educated, the country will not fine itself in such situation.

He called on young people of Liberia to remain focus by taking their education very seriously, because the nation depends on them to provide future leadership.

He challenges the youth to always set good examples worth emulating, and hails the founder of the Barshell University, Representative David G. Barshell for his farsightedness in establishing the institution that is buttressing government’s efforts to provide education to the youth, and vows to pay fees for 57 students at the Barshell University.
