Residents reject Nigerian doctor
Residents of Bong Mines in Fuamah, Lower Bong County are said to be rejecting a Nigerian Doctor assigned at the Bong Mines Hospital in Fuamah District.
Report reaching this paper indicates that Fuamah inhabitants are expressing bitterness over the assignment of the Nigerian Doctor Francis Obeyarsee and are demanding his reassignment to another health center.
Doctor Obeyarsee is currently assigned at the Bong Mines Hospital, but he faces accusation of collecting fees from locals who go for medication.
According to our Bong County correspondent, locals are accusing the Nigerian Doctor of not allegedly discharging his duty professionally at the health facility.
The citizens are alleging that Doctor Obeyarsee is in the constant habit of collecting money from patients to carry on surgery and other medical work that should be free of charge.
They warn that if the Ministry of Health does not remove Doctor Obeyarsee, they will take a radical approach immediately.
The Bong Mines Hospital in Fuamah District has two Medical Doctors, including Doctor Alexander Togbah and the embattled Dr. Francis Obeyarsee.
