With assistance from the Ministry of Education, the Eddie Mills Scarborough Public school in Brewerville, outside Monrovia has undergone a serious renovation.
As a result of the Education Ministry’s intervention, the school has been deconjested.According to the principal of the school, Charles Moulton, the doors, windows and other facilities have been restored, while the structures have been painted and the campus given a face-lift.
The Ellen Mills Scarborough school is located on the right bank of Montserrado County, and has been operating since 1985 in the city of Browerville. Mr. Moulton said the major problem confronting the institution was bathroom for which some materials were dispatched by ministry though insufficient.
He said for now kids will use the bush to ease themselves, further appealing to the Ministry of Education to quickly intervene. His appeal was against the backdrop of a statement by the District Education Officer that the Ministry will be unable to provide chairs.
