Sen. Morais donates tools to Transiebo Gbloken

As part of efforts to support development and empowerment, Maryland County Senator H. Dan Morais, through his home office coordinator Joseph T. Clark, donates several carpentry tools to the people of Trsnsiebo Gbloken, Maryland.

Clark explains that the tools, which include hammers, modern tapes, pin bars, plains, pliers and chasers, among others, came as a result of request made by the community during the Senator Morais’ recent visit to the region.

During the presentation of materials on Mechlin Street, in Harper City, he challenged the community dwellers to use them for their intended purposes. He stresses that the maintenance of the tools will give rise for more future donations from Senator’s office as he continues to represent them in the 54th Liberian Legislature.

Gbloken, situated in Transiebo clan, Pleebo Sodoken Statutory District, is one of the 29 Nyenbo towns in the district ranked as most united with residents always engaged in development.

The town with a population of 1,000 people has a general carpentry shop that caters to the needs of citizens, but lack of tools has posed a challenge. Clark, who did not give the cost of materials donated, says their benefit to the people is what matters most and not monetary value.

Receiving the materials with smile, a resident Cyrus Cooper, lauds Senator H. Dan Morais, for the gesture, which he notes will provide great relief and financial empowerment for citizens of the community.

He describes Senator Morais as a man of his words when it comes to fulfilling promises. He assures that the materials provided will be used for their intended purpose, and calls on other Marylanders to emulate the good examples of the senator.
