Sierra Leone’s Premier Club to Battle Barrolle

East End Lions, a football club in the Sierra Leonean premier league, is expected to arrive in Liberia later this week for a friendly match with Liberia’s Kanyan pepper (Mighty Barrolle).

The match which is scheduled for September 4, 2010, will be played at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in Monrovia.

According to a release issued in Monrovia at the weekend, the international friendly is a part of series of activities to commemorate the official dedication of Mighty Barrolle’s new office.

The release which is signed by Isaac Yeah, a member of the program organizing committee, details that the arrival of premier club, East End Lions of Sierra Leone will be provided subsequently.

Mighty Barrolle is Liberia Football Association (LFA) 2009 premier league champion, the team has several of its players on the senior national local based and the under 20 national teams.

Meanwhile, Mighty Barrolle will on Saturday September 4, 2010 at 9am officially dedicate its newly renovated office in the ELWA Community. The new office is closed to the old hospital few blocks from the Market.

At the program, Mighty Barrolle President Julia Duncan-Cassell will launch Might Barrolle Sports Association Chapters across the country. It is expected that many Barrolle veterans, supporters, sympathizers and fans will grace this unique occasion.

Mighty Barrolle was sometime this year evacuated from its former Clay Street office.
