As the October deadline set by the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) approaches for the registration of SIM cards in Liberia, Lonestar Cell MTN has intensified its SIM registration process by holding Festivals in the various counties. Of late, Bomi and Montserrado counties were host to the festivals which saw scores of subscribers jubilantly registering their SIM cards.
Now, the SIM Registration Festivals are headed to northeastern Liberia, the cities of Bahn (Oct.3), Saclepea (Oct.4), Tappita (Oct.5), Karnplay (Oct.6), Cocopa (Oct.7), Sanniquellie and Yekepa (Oct 8) where thousands of subscribers are expected to register their SIM.
Nimba County holds a large number of the population of Liberia with Lonestar Cell MTN subscribers in the majority. It can be recalled that a few weeks ago Lonestar Cell MTN intensified efforts in the counties, launching successfully its SIM registration efforts in Bomi County.
Residents of Tubmanburg and surrounding villages and towns said they were extremely pleased that Lonestar Cell MTN had provided the opportunity for them to register their SIM without difficulty. The migration to the 10 digits was also explained to the hundreds of subscribers that came out, while they registered their SIM.
Meanwhile SIM Registration activities continue in all the counties where subscribers can go to any Lonestar Cell MTN office and register or do so with any of the many Lonestar Cell MTN Foot Soldiers currently deployed.
