Sixteen teams were last Monday drawn into a group of four, for the second edition of the football-for-Hope LISCR sponsored Peace and Charity tournament.

The tournament takes place from May 7-14 at the ATS in Monrovia.
According to the draw, Alliance FC, Black Star, FC Fassell and Green Pasture are paired in group one, while group two brings together defending Champions Jasmine Rangers, Invincible Eleven or IE, Blue Angels and Club Beer.
Watanga FC is grouped with with LFA Knock-out Champions Barrack Young Controllers (BYC), Tony FC and Bardnersville FC. LISCR FC, Vinton Professionals, Survivors FC and Aries FC will all face each other in group four.
The winner will receive a cash prize of forty thousand Liberian dollars or $40,000.00LD, while the runners-up will walk away with a cash prize of twenty-five thousand Liberian dollars or $25,000.00LD, and the third and fourth place winners will receive fifteen and ten thousand Liberian dollars or $15,000.00LD and $10,000.00LD respectively.
The Secretary General of Football for Hope, Andy Quamie told New Dawn sports that unlike the previous edition of the tournament, this edition will be played at night, and will also feature for the first time ever in the history of Liberians soccer, pre-match and post-match news conferences for each game during the tournament.
Quamie f told this paper that each of the sixteen teams have received the amount of $7,000.00 for preparations.
Earlier following the draw, the tournament’s Coordinator, Numinee Williams in his press briefings, said other than the usual three substitutions which has been change to six by the organizers, all other FIFA ground rules will be observed during the competition.
Already Liberian soccer enthusiasts are in search for tickets to the games, while clubs are seen in preparation moods as this tournament promises to be a seesaw and very entertaining one.
