Soccer Battles from Asia

Former NPA FC center defender Layee Kamara and Thomas Momolu Zubah playing in Maldives was in action for Club AYL 2-1 victory in the Maldives premier league yesterday when they played away to Thodoo FC.

Layee scored his forth goal for the club in yesterday clash, one in the Championship and three in the premiership. Layee Kamara was significant in the struggle of Paynesville Youth Controller FC promotion from 4th through 1st division in many seasons before joining Liberian premiership side NPA FC, after a season with the club, Kamara departed Liberia for tryout in the Southern Asian Ocean with premiership side Club AYL where he signed with the club joining fellow Liberian Thomas Momolu Zubah.

There are three Liberians in that part of the world who are seeking professional soccer. Zubah is currently one of the best defenders in Maldives due to his strength and jumping ability according to the Maldives soccer website.
