SOS for Benetta Massaquoi

The family of Benetta A. Massaquoi is appealing to all humanitarians, including religious leaders, officials of government, especially President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Montserrado County Senatorial Candidate Robert Sirleaf, private citizens, local and international organizations, alumni of the College of West Africa (CWA), University of Liberia (UL), as well as  Cuttington University Graduate School (CUCGS), among others to come to the aid of Ms. Bennetta A. Massaquoi, who is suffering from kidney complications.

Ms. Massaquoi is currently admitted at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana. Medical doctors have advised that she be taken abroad for further treatment.

According to the medical report of ailing Bennetta, she’s  undergoing dialysis three times a week due to kidney failure, and doctors attending to her have recommended that she be transferred urgently to a specialized hospital in India for Kidney transplant. A communications received from the Hospital in India has put the cost of the Kidney transplant at USD$40,000.00.
