Storms render over 300 homeless

300 homeless NDOver 300 residents of Garr-Dimgamo town, district #2 in Nimba County have been made homeless by severe storms as result of torrential rains.

Narrating their ordeal to this paper, the villagers said they were on their farms when the storms hit the town at 10:00 in the morning, destroying houses. Most of the victims are farmers, who have no means to re-build their homes.

They have been sleeping outdoors since the incident, while others are in the bushes. A father of 12, said since the incident, he and his children have nowhere to go for food to eat. Mr. Nya Vahn and David Garmie are calling on the government and non-governmental organizations to intervene thru quick impact project.
