Teachers reject CEO in Nimba

Several public school teachers in Nimba County say they will not work with the suspended County Education Officer Mr. Wleh T. Selah, who they claimed allegedly place his girlfriend and family members on the government payroll.

The aggrieved teachers accused the investigative board setup by the Ministry of Education of not probing the depth of the problem. They vowed to boycott classes beginning today, Monday, 13 June until the issue involving the suspended CEO is properly investigated.

The teachers further warned if CEO Wleh T.Selah retuned to the county without the matter being resolved, they would not cooperate with him.

The NewDawn Nimba Correspondent said Mr. Selah was due in the county over the weekend. Editing by Jonathan Browne
