Timbo River Bridge Collapsed
The Timbo River Bridge, which connects Rivercess and Grand Bassa Counties have collapsed leaving several people injured with one person presumed dead.
According to our correspondent, the incident occurred last Saturday night when the bridge could not withhold the weight of a commercial truck, loaded with planks from ITI.
As a result of the accident, our correspondent said of the 8 persons on-board, one is said to be in critical condition and has been admitted at the St. Francis Hospital in Cestos, Rivercess County awaiting transfer to Monrovia.
However, residents in the area told our reporter that if the situation is not address as fast as possible, it could affect the voter’s registration which gets on the way today throughout the country.
