Togolese president pays solidarity visit here today

The President of the Republic of Togo and Supervisor of ECOWAS initiatives in the fight against  the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) H.E. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe arrives in Liberia Friday, February 6, 2015 for a one day Solidarity Visit.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the Togolese President who is heading a four member delegation and also Supervisor of ECOWAS initiatives in the fight against Ebola Virus Disease will hold discussions with Her Excellency Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of the Republic of Liberia and other senior government officials.

The two leaders will then address a brief media stake-out in the foyer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after which the Togolese President will take off for Sierra Leone and Guinea.
