Tragic accident kills 5

At least five persons have died through a tragic Motor accident and several others wounded along the Gbarnga Gbondoi high way. The Tragic Motor accident occurred on Monday evening involving two vehicles a commercial taxi and bus with approximately sixteen passengers from the two vehicles. Both vehicles ran into each other from opposite directions leading to the death of four persons from the taxi and one person from the bus.

Speaking in an interview with this paper in the county after conducting an investigation, Bong County Traffic Commander Augustine Kanneh through Medical Doctors or Practitioners at the Phebe Medical hospital pronounced three female and two male dead upon arrival at the health facility in Suakoko District Bong County.

Inspector Augustine Kanneh says at the moment, about eleven of the victims are currently admitted at the Phebe hospital seeking medication.Augustine Kanneh noted that based on report gathered from eye witnesses, the accident was at a result of over speeding, but that the exact cause of the incident is yet to be established by the Liberia National Police Traffic Division Bong County Detachment.

Meanwhile, Inspector Kanneh has appealed to drivers to desist from over speeding in order to minimize the high increase of accidents in the Country.According to eyewitnesses, the two Drivers were actually speeding and the two drivers lost control in the very narrow curve thus leading to the accident.
