U.S. team renders free medication

A team of medical and mental health Doctors from America, including the Chicago Global Health Alliance is conducting free medical services at the Ganta United Methodist Hospital in Nimba County.

The head of the team, Doctor DemeniaGbarbea, said they are in Ganta to offer free mental health services at three hospitals in Liberia.She names the hospitals as Phebe Hospital, in Bong County, Ganta United Methodist Hospital, and the J.F.K. Hospital in Monrovia.

The medical services are being sponsored by Project Cure. For her part, the field logistics and data manager for Project CURE, Jessica Murison, told our Nimba County Correspondent that her organization has been helping hospitals in Liberia to address the health needs of her citizens.

Madam Mursion disclosed that Project CUREe is to shortly provide medical equipment and drugs to those three hospitals to help boost the health needs of Liberians.
