Unidentified body discovered in Red Hill Field community

An unidentified man has been found lying dead with bruises in the middle of the road in Red Hill Field community, Montserrado County District #17. No one in the community could identify the victim, who bled with fresh blood.

Community residents and bystanders described him as a suspected robber. Residents told this paper that they woke up Thursday morning and saw the unknown dead body in the middle of the street.

When contacted, the Liberia National Police Zone 6 commander in the area, Blama Yancy, said the police have not established the cause of death.

Commander Yancy said the police only received a call from community residents about a dead body in the street.

He said the police would carry out investigation to ascertain what caused the death of the unidentified man.
