US$784,500 projects for G. Kru
Grand Kru County District#2 Representative, Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, releases a proposed comprehensive string of 41 diverse projects, at the cost of US$784,500.00 following request from at least 40,000 citizens.
Speaking to reporters at his Capitol Building office in Monrovia on Wednesday, the Grand Kru County lawmaker says the project list is a set of requests solicited from the district after his successful election.
He assures that his office will be committed to undertake the 41 projects to be earmarked in 18 communities in Electoral District # 2, Grand Kru County. However, he says the proposals are under consideration and are totally different from the already housing projects, which is aimed at providing shelters for 60 elders and their respective families.
House’s Chairman on Judiciary, Rep. Koffa, who chairs the House’s Judiciary Committee, says the projects will be executed through the Legislative Special Project (LSP), and his organization — Anteenah.
He explains that the LSP will implement 29, while Anteenah will do 12 projects, adding that the 24 developmental projects are scheduled for implementation between 2019 and 2024.
