Watanga FC Dedicates Head Office

Watanga FC President Dee-Maxwell Kemayah, has sent out strong warning to would-be indiscipline players that the club will not hesitate to penalize them. Speaking at the official opening ceremony of the club’s head office in Harmony Field community, Dupot Road, Kemayah said the facility is intended to make players feel at home, but will not entertain acts of  in-discipline.

“Let me inform you my players [of] our zero tolerance on indiscipline, as it relates to the management of this facility and the team,” he added. The LFA Executive Committee Member noted that indiscipline has robbed Liberia of many chances in the world of football so his club will stand firm to curb such attitude that continued to be exhibited by young players.

The new office, which is called Watanga House has a capacity to accommodate at least 30 players, will be used both for administrative activities and camping purposes, according to Mr. Kemayah. He said the facilities will be open to other clubs in Liberia for rental when the need arises.

Also speaking at the occasion, the President of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Musa Bility, applauded the officials of Watanga FC for being the first club in the local league to own such facility.

Mr. Bility said it signals that the club is driving towards archiving the local football mandate for top flight clubs. The LFA Boss, himself a former President of Watanga FC, said the opening of the facility is a challenge to other clubs in the National League. He then challenged the President of Watanga FC to pay his players on time, while warning the players to be prepared to deliver positive results.
