Weah can’t do it alone

The Chief Executive Officer of United Soccer Ambassador football club  (USA FC) Mr. Prince  Opoku Walker says President George Manneh Weah cannot do everything alone for the economy.

Speaking during the distribution of rice with community dwellers in Logan Town Thursday, 23 June 2022, Mr. Walker said it is time that everyone makes their own contribution to the uplifting of the country in whatever positive way.

Mr. Walker who is also the CEO of Prince Walker Group of Companies told a gathering at the  Quiah Street Intellectual Center for Development that the distribution of the rice was his company’s way of contributing to the growth of the society.

Mr. Walker emphasized that the Government of Liberia can’t do it alone. But he also used the medium to clarify that he has no political ambition, saying he is undertaking the initiative to help people in need, give back to society and empower young people.

Mr. Walker furthered that few weeks ago, he had promised the people of Logan Town 50 bags of 25 kg rice, disclosing that distribution on Thursday was in fulfillment of the promise made to the people of District #15, Montserrado County.

Receiving the rice, Mr. David Sarkpah, Chairman of Zomdo Town community, thanked Mr. Walker for his kind gesture towards the young people and the old folks of District # 15.

For his part,  the Chairman of Blamo Town Community, Mr. Daniel Toe, appreciated the Prince Walker Group of Companies for identifying with  his people.–Edited by Winston W. Parley
