President George Manneh Weah has with immediate effect finalized the appointments of the Liberia Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative Multi-Stakeholders Steering Group (LEITIMSG).
According to an Executive Mansion release issued Tuesday, 25 September, those appointed include Mr. Baryou Wallace, representing Liberia Labor Congress as member; Mr. Esiaka B. Konneh, representing Liberia Gold/Diamond Broker and Dealers Association as member; Mrs. Celecia Danuwieli representing Publish What You Pay as member and Mr. Daniel Nyankonah, Jr. representing the Press Union of Liberia as member.
Others appointed include Mr. Ansu Sekou Konneh representing Western Cluster Limited as member; Mr. E. Ekema A. Witherspoon, I, representing Liberia Timber Association as member; Mr. Elvis G. Morris representing Golden Veroleum Liberia as member; Mr. Eric N. Swen representing ArcelorMittal as member and Mr. Raymond Gwenigale representing Firestone Liberia as member.
Meanwhile, President Weah has designated Mr. C. Mike Donyen and Mr. Gesler E. Murray as Chair and Co- Chair respectively.–Press release
