Woman 45, Commit Suicide In Nimba

A 45year old woman named Hawa Dee has committed suicide in Tappita, lower Nimba County.

Family members told our correspondent in the county that the cause of the suicide is yet to be established.

But they say prior to her death, Hawa and her husband had been going through some marital issues. Things appears to have been okay between the two following the intervention of their local Church Pastor about three months ago before her body was discovered in her bed room.

Our Nimba County correspondent said suicide has begun a common practice in Nimba with the latest development bringing to eight the number of suicide victims in four months.

Residents of Tappita are said to be in shock over this latest death.-Edited by Othello B. Garblah
