Woman arrested for daughter’s death

Police in Monrovia say they have arrested a woman identified as Mary Seaton, 34, over the death of her six – year – old daughter Mardea Garblah following brutality against the victim.

Police Spokesman Moses Carter told a press briefing Monday, 2 July in Monrovia that suspect Mary broke victim Mardea’s left arm and leg and also burst one of the child’s eyes.

Mr. Carter says police preliminary investigation shows that the child died as a result of the beating.He says suspect Mary, a resident of Peace Island Community is in police custody after brutalizing the kid. She is undergoing police investigation, and she will be forward to court for prosecution, Mr. Carter concludes.
