A 30 – year – old woman identified as Gbarngo Mulbah has reportedly committed suicide in Lelekpayeah community, Gbarnga, Bong County. News reaching this paper says the lifeless body of the late Gbarngo was discovered hanging Saturday morning, 4 August in an unfinished building in the community.
The deceased was hung with a lapper and T-Shirt tied on her neck.Some eyewitnesses told our correspondent in Bong County that the late Gbarngo used to complain to close neighbors about her health condition prior to her death.
They say the victim was involved in a motor accident few months back which reportedly created serious problems on her right arm.According to them, Gbarngo had gone to almost all of the herbalists she knew, but the problems seemed to be getting worse.
The death of Gbarngo has generated grief among residents of Lelekpayeah Community in Jorquelleh electoral Districts#3 in Gbarnga.The Crime Services Division (CSD) of the Liberia National Police (LNP) in Bong County has investigated circumstances leading to the death of the late Gbarngo and also set up a 15 – man jury to physically examine her body.
The jury later reported that there was no foul play associated with her death, but has instead attributed Gbarngo’s death to suicide.The late Gbarngo’s fiancé Emmanuel Flomo has expressed shock and disappointment over his spouse’s action, especially leaving behind her ten months old daughter.Meanwhile, the NP has ordered the bereaved family members to bury the corpse of Gbarngo Mulbah as soon as possible.
