Woman killed friend in deadly revenge

An 18-year old woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her friend to the death in the Omega Community in Paynesville. Satta Morris allegedly stabbed Weedor Lamah, 29, to death over claims that the victim had beaten her two year old daughter.

The incident which occurred on September 24, Police authorities say, began as a quarrel, before developing into a fist fight, with the suspect allegedly using knife to carry out the gruesome act. Deputy Police spokesman Peter Norman told reporters on Monday September 28, that the suspect stabbed the victim to death during the fight.

Suspect Satta is currently in custody at the Central Headquarters undergoing investigation after being taken there on Monday, 28 September. This is a rare incident here. There has always been reports of men stabbing women to death or a man stabbing another out of jealousy.
