Yao Set Ro Strike

Egyptian 2nd division club, Malia Sporting Club will honor their 12th league fixture today away to Olympic FC. Yao Abblode of Liberia is expected to start from central midfield during that match. Malia Sporting Club is pocketing 15 points from the first phase of their campaign.

 

Yao Abblode is a former player of triple champions Black Star. He secured the move to Egypt months ago, after undergoing numerous tryouts in the country. He has registered a few goals for the club since he joined at the start of the season. The 18-year old midfielder is noted for his long range kicking and heading ability while playing in Liberia.

Meanwhile, a number of Liberian professionals are returning to club actions after the holidays. One of such players is former Ducor Defenders midfielder, George Boe, who will be honoring his contract in Greece league-3, as he resumes training with his club FC Aetos. The midfielder’s club is topping the league table with 30 points from 14 league matches. Boe was caught up in all of the club’s games.

According to the player, they had a great first phase. “We won most of our matches and have been promised by the club administration that qualification will be rewarded with great honors. The players are not willing to play in the 3rd league next season; we will do all to obtain promotion,” the Liberian midfielder.

Boe netted home six goals in the first phase, and rounded 15 assists to the club forward liners. George Boe joined FC Aetos with the aimed of helping them qualify for the second league in Greece. He is the only Liberian playing in the 3rh league in that country.
