Zarzar Promises Development for Sinoe

Sinoe County District #3, Representative Matthew Zarzar has promised to prioritize the interest of his people during his tenure in the House because he said, they are his direct employers.

Rep. Zarzar said the development of his district would highly be prioritized, coupled with other social responsibilities. Zarzar spoke in an interview with reporters at the Capitol, according to the Liberia News Agency.

The Sinoe County District #3 lawmaker was elected a month ago to replace the late Hon. Nelson Wah Bah from Congress for democratic Change, who passed off shortly after his reelection during the 2011 presidential and legislative elections.

In a related development, Rep. Zarzar has disclosed that his district lacks modern communication facilities, adding that efforts are being exerted to encourage GSM service providers to extend services to the district.

He called on the Ministry of Public Works to help with the reconditioning of roads in the county. He said roads in the district were deplorable, thus impeding movement of goods and services.

Rep. Zarzar said it was important to attach urgency to the rehabilitation of roads in that part of the country in the wake of the rainy season.
