ISSA League Heats Up

The Inter-School Sports Association (ISSA) League continued Monday, March 29, 2010 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS), with several exciting matches in the kickball and football categories.

In game one, the Girls of Sinkor Assembly of God went down to their Wesleyan Academy Counterparts 2-10 Home-Runs.

In Game Two, Star Baptist narrowly defeated James Doe Young in a competitive 6-5 home-runs and the third match of the day saw Philip Preparatory School destroyed Edmond Community School in a highly entertaining 9-3 home-runs.

In the football category, Philip Preparatory School defeated Edmond Community School 1- 0. Sinkor Assembly of God narrowly lost to the Wide Kids of Caldwell-road Wesleyan Academy 0-1 in game two.  In the third and final match of the day, James Doe Young Assembly of God wiped Star Baptist 4-0.

Meanwhile, the league continues Wednesday with more interesting games at the same venue.Apostolic Foundation will take on Calvary Baptist in what seems to be today’s only Kickball match.

In game one, Christian Academy will take on Bassa Academy, while Chilly Community will come face to face with People Institute in game two and game three will bring to eyes the brilliant soccer talents of the boys of Martin Luther Kings, as they rub shoulders with their opponents from Kulah Memorial in the football category.
