ALL IS VANITY

This is the day that the Lord have made we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Today we shall be discussing VANITY.

VANITY- IS THAT WHICH IS VAIN, FUTILE OR WORTHLESS; THAT WHICH IS OF NO VALUE, USE OR PROFIT.

I was mandated by God Almighty to write on this topic “VANITY”. It astonished me when I heard about the death of a famous handsome, promising, productive and a young Nigerian actor yesterday.

You may be so concern why I am so particular about his death, because many young Liberian have died, also has many other stars around the world. Yes it is true, but this is the time the Lord told me to let you know that your fame, beauty, wearing, cars, houses, money etc… cannot stopped him from taking you when he chooses, and you have no choice but to leave. God gave us choice to live the way we want, but he did not give us the choice to choose when we want to die.

The Lord said I should tell you to prepare yourself now because, you don’t know when he will call upon you. He said, I should remind you that the live you are living is not yours but his. Most of us have the habit of saying; “I am living my life for myself and not to please anyone” God says NO. You are living for me and you are to please me, and then in this, you have to do what I want, that is to love your neighbors as yourself.

Mathew 22: 34-40
LOVE is the greatest commandment; with love you supersede all other commandments.

My dear brothers and sisters all that we are killing ourselves for in this world are all vanity. Everybody wants everything for themselves no one wants to share. How much can you alone consume, that you cannot share with those that need it most? There are people out there that need your assistance, but you don’t want to give because you
want to be the only one that has it all.

Remember now, God will not reward you according to how much you have in your bank account, cars and houses that you build, but according to how much love you have for his people, once you love them you will always care for their needs. But most of us find it even difficult to give ride to someone by the road side; you prefer enjoying alone and let others struggle.

All your houses+ cars + designer wearing + designer shoes + cosmetics +gold& diamond + your millions & billions of dollars, they are all = VANITY.

Ecclesiastes 11:8
“But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that come is VANITY’.
