BIN Officer breaks Deputy’s tooth

A border patrol officer of the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization assigned at the Loguatuo border in Nimba County has attacked and brutalized his boss, leaving him with a broken tooth.

Patrol Officer Oliver Nimely allegedly attacked his boss, Deputy BIN Commander Alfred Wyormie on Saturday, November 14, while he was being interrogated for alleged disorderly conduct. According to BIN sources in Nimba, Officer Nimely had acted unruly at his post at the border, while his boss was away.

Upon the return of Deputy Commander Wyormie, the issue was reported to him and he decided to investigate by summoning officer Nimely for questioning, but the junior officer got infuriated and punched his boss, broken one of his teeth.

Deputy Commander Wyormie has been admitted at the John F. Kennedy Hospital in Monrovia, while the BIN headquarters in Monrovia has recalled Officer Oliver Nimely for investigation.
