CDC rebukes misleading police report labeling suspect Emmanuel Williams as CDC supporter

-He’s not but a proven supporter of the Unity Party.

Today’s edition of the New Dawn Newspaper, quoting Police charge sheet, claims suspect Emmanuel K. Williams is a ‘Staunch supporter of the CDC’. The paper, again quoting Police charge sheet, is alleging further that this ‘UP Headquarters crash murder suspect’ is also a member of a CDC auxiliary called ‘Militant Brigade’. All the above insinuations, unfortunately coming from a police charge sheet, are absolutely false and misleading, leaving one to wonder who in the police is doing the bidding of the Unity Party!

In countering this disinformation campaign, the New Dawn Newspaper, being a medium only, needs no pardon since it is guiltless.

Firstly, apparently in a hurry to accomplish a coordinated disinformation campaign against the CDC, an agent provocateur at the Liberia National Police has chosen to disregard irrefutable proof of Mr. Williams support to JNB & the Unity Party.

It is clear that suspect Williams is not only a supporter of the Unity Party, but was visibly and actively engaged in campaigning (in recent elections) against the CDC and its standard-bearer, H.E. George M. Weah(see proof attached).

Secondly, the CDC may have thousands of auxiliaries, but not a single one bears the name ‘MILITANT BRIGADE’ as is being falsely claimed by the police’s charge sheet.

The CDC cautions against this creeping politicization of the Liberia National Police, which has been gaining traction since the recent presidential campaign.

That the Patrick Sudue-led Liberia National Police will continue to flush out its ‘Neutrality’ in support of a subtle but nefarious agenda of the Unity Party, is not too much of a surprise.

Here is why. While we support justice for our brothers and sisters, unfortunate victims of the tragic crash at the Unity Party Headquarters, we cannot also be silent when the nation’s Chief law-enforcement agency becomes cannon fodder to stereotype hundreds of thousands of members of the Coalition for Democratic Change.

Since the police will inevitably come out arguing to the contrary, what other counter argument is there to justify the Patrick Sudue-led police’s mishandling of the Foya tragedy when members of the CDC were brutally murdered by suspects openly dressed in Unity Party T-Shirts?

Of the many persons arrested, released before being re-arrested and reluctantly charged under public pressure, not a single charge sheet labels any of the suspects as a Unity Party supporter, despite the preponderance of evidence linking them to the barbarities against our people.

As the police suspiciously dance in the shadows of the Unity Party, it is even being alleged that notorious former Police Director for Operations, Abraham Kromah, allegedly paid a secret visit at the Liberia National Police to manipulate preliminary findings into the UP-Headquarters crash case.

The imminent recycling of names of the sort who stand indictable of serious crimes committed against the Liberian people is a precursor of the pending evil, one we stand ready and prepared to confront.

As already stated, let it be known to the anti-CDC sleeper cell at the Liberia National Police that, as it goes into active service against the people, the mighty Coalition for Democratic Change is quite capable of confronting and defeating its partisan, sinister vices.
