In the true spirit of Christmas, the Delivering Good Health Community Services (DGHCS) has once again demonstrated the essence of the season by extending a generous hand to the less fortunate children of Liberia.
This year’s beneficiaries include the Children Future Program Orphanage and the Peter Sayklon Orphanage, both located in Margibi, where over 400 children who have lost their parents or find themselves in need of care and support reside.
The heartfelt assistance provided by DGHCS encompassed a variety of essential items, including rice, oil, sardines, juices, candies, and footballs, bringing joy and festive cheer to the children during the holiday season.
The organization, rooted in a commitment to the welfare of Liberia’s children, has made it a tradition to share the spirit of Christmas by reaching out to those in need.
Nallie Brumskine Moore, the Executive Director of DGHCS, expressed her dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of the less fortunate.
“Christmas is a time of giving, and we are grateful for the opportunity to bring joy to these wonderful children. Our commitment to their well-being is unwavering, and we believe in the power of sharing love and kindness during this festive season,” She said.
The caretakers of the orphanages were overjoyed by the donation, emphasizing the consistent support they have received over the years. Mr. Peter Sayklon, who oversees one of the orphanages, expressed his gratitude, saying, “While we have come to expect this generosity from DGHCS every year, we are still overwhelmed by the love, care, and support they continue to show. It is heartening to witness the smiles on the faces of the children, thanks to the efforts of the DGHCS.”
