Student, 27, Arrested for Fraud

A 27-year old student of the Free Pentecostal High School in Voinjama, Lofa County, has been arrested for electoral fraud.

Police said James Kulee was arrested last Friday when he attempted carrying out a double registration at two different Voters’ Registration Centers.

According to our correspondent, Kulee is the first person to be apprehended for electoral cheating since the process got underway three weeks ago.

Suspect Kulee is said to be in police custody undergoing investigation. The NEC continues to warn would-be perpetrators of electoral mal-practices. NEC says any one caught will face the full weight of the law.
