Woman cuts boyfriend’s penis

Victim George N. Bainda

A 22-year-old woman has allegedly chopped the penis of her 21-year-old boyfriend after he terminated their relationship, accusing her for alleged misbehavior and sexual unfaithfulness. The suspect has been identified as Miatta Sesay.

The incident occurred in Miatta Town, Felela, Lower Bong County on Sunday, May 1 at about noon. Speaking to this paper in Miatta Town late Sunday after the incident, the victim’s aunt Madam Hawa Kollie, narrated that the accused had earlier threatened to physically harm the victim because he walked out of her life.

Madam Kollie said, she told the alleged perpetrator to get out of her sight because of the terrible comment. She continued that after a while, the man went to shower at the creek when Miatta crept on him and slashed his penis very deeply, leaving him to scream in agony and bleed profusely.

She said it was by then when one of the victim’s friends heard him screamed down the creek and immediately went to find out, adding that the ghastly scene left the friend with no alternative but to alarm. Madam Hawa said neighbors and family members then rushed to the creek and quickly took the victim to a nearby clinic, but he was transferred to the Phebe Hospital in Bong County for proper medication.

The victim was heard crying, “I am dying; Mesee (Miatta Sesay) has killed me.” According to the aunt, angry crowd instantly launched a search for Miatta, but she quickly entered her bedroom and wasted blood on her bed, claiming that that victim had attempted to rape her so she fought back in self-defense thus, harming him.

She was immediately apprehended and taken to the Liberia National Police in Salala, Bong County, undergoing investigation as news of the incident spreads in Bong and adjacent areas like wildfire. Subsequently narrating his ordeal to this paper on Tuesday, 3 May the victim, George N. Bainda, said he and his fiancée’ had not been on good terms due to the fact that she was constantly sleeping out, engaging in extra relationship so he decided to quit her.

George further narrated he had on several occasions engaged her about her attitude but she would not respond moderately, bragging that she is in a better relationship than him. The victim said he also complained his fiancée to her parents, asking them to inquire from her whether she was still interested in being with him.

He said with no solution in sight despite his efforts, he asked her to pack her belongings and leave instead of embarrassing his life, which she allegedly yielded to and left. According to him, his fear was she could be harmed one of these nights while sleeping out, and he could take the blame because her entire family knows him as her boyfriend.

He detailed that the attack against his life occurred around 3: 40 pm on Sunday when he decided to go to the creek and shower in order to rush to a susu club meeting, adding that while in the creek taking bath with soap fume on his face, Miatta allegedly crept towards him and deeply slashed his penis, leaving his urinary tract cut.

The victim said immediately he screamed, calling for help and dropped, but was rescued and rushed to the Phebe Hospital in Suakoko outside Gbarnga for medication and subsequently discharged. George said while this was going on, he heard the suspect remarked that everything is finished, and that his parents will lose him.

The partners had lived together for about five years and have a two years old son, prior to the incident
