Cummings continues nationwide engagement

The political leader of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Mr. Alexander B. Cummings over the weekend continues his nationwide engagement in Tubmanburg, Bomi County to induct the local leadership of the ANC Global Youth Movement (GYM) into office.

While in Bomi over the weekend, the ANC leader also participated in several activities organized by GYM.

GYM is one of the many youth groups supporting me and the Alternative National Congress (ANC) in general.

The GYM, is said to have reaffirmed its commitment to the party’s efforts to make Liberia a better country for everyone.

“I am happy that the young people, women and men who came from different parts of Bomi County to participate in the GYM activities, were exuberant and motivated about the real change we are working to achieve in Liberia,” said Mr. Cummings.

Cummings also reassured the GYM that ANC, LP and other Liberians with a similar desire, will never let Liberians down. “We will do the real work, make the difficult decisions, make the right choices and do things differently,” he said.

The ANC leader also reiterated that Liberia will not change simply because “we wish for it to change – we must do the work to change Liberia.”

He expressed his gratitude to GYM and its mastermind, Kawii “Duke” Jayjay, the people of Bomi County and to all Liberians who are joining the party in its effort to do things differently.

“Let us continue to recruit more Liberians to join us, regardless of who they are or what their political views are. We must work tirelessly to make them realize that we are offering REAL CHANGE.

I am also thankful to Bomi County Senator, Hon. Edwin M. Snowe who made a brief stop to greet us,” he added.
