Press Release

Dekap Liberia donates educational and food items to the blind and their kids

Dekap Liberia is recently received food items, sanitizing materials and copy books from the Ebola Center, General Service Agency (GSA) and a kindhearted friend respectively.

These materials have gone a long way to boost Dekap Liberia ‘Survivor Relief’ Program.

Over the week end, as is done on the last Saturday of each month, more than a hundred visually impaired beggars, their children and children affected by the Ebola disease received regular food support.

Basically, these children are among the most vulnerable in our society. Their parents have no livelihood due to ‘lost vision’ which has incapacitated them to fend for themselves and their children.

The distribution comprises of food, note books and hand washing materials.

Dekap Liberia wishes to use this medium to express our profound gratitude to our donors as this is the first mass distribution of its kind to the beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, we need you to pray for our sponsored kids as most of them have just started their education even though, they are over aged.

We are also in expectation of and urgent financial support from individuals and organizations to pay the school fees of our kids.

This is very paramount to keep them in school.
