Global Bank Embarks On Expansion Initiative

Authorities at the Global Bank Liberia Limited say they have begun purchasing additional properties to open branches in Monrovia thereby paving the way for the bank to expand to other parts of the country.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Global Bank Liberia Limited,   Mr. Victor Ebator, the bank has acquired some private facilities within the districts of Sinkor, Paynesville and Bushrod Island which will be developed soon.

Speaking over the weekend during the presentation of prizes to winner s of the banks riffle draw, Mr. Ebator said if the additional branches are built, they  would serve the bank’s numerous customers who are finding it difficult to travel from long distance to Monrovia to carryout business transaction at the bank.

According to him, the bank has been making meaningful contributions to Liberia’s recovery programs. The bank boss emphasized that the bank would ensure it opens branches across the country.

Mr. Ebator said the bank is among several post-war financial institutions which were established here in the aftermath of hostilities in 2003. He then expressed confidence in the Liberian economy, stressing that that there are prospects for good businesses in Liberia.

Some of the prizes won by customers were tiger generator, television set of various sizes, mobile phones among other others.
