Jubille FC Not Winning

As teams in the ongoing LFA league battle for the trohpy and places to escappe relegation, Jubilee Football Club is yet to win a single match in four encounters. The club felt to Nimba United FC in their first game 1-0 at the D-Tweh sport pitch.

The team traveled to Nimba County in an away fixture against Nimba FC at the Ganta Sport pitch. Nimba FC were unable to win at home, as Jubilee played them to a goalless draw.

Jubilee later returned to the city stadium (ATS) where they settled 1-1 with former tripple champions, Black Star. The club was involved in a 2-2 match with Aziz Kara FC, a relegated club reconsidered this season for the premiership league.

Jubilee FC  are expereincing their second season in the local premiership. Afred Gibson is the club’s top scorer from last season. The player said “the club is not winning, that is not a good sign for us.”

Meanwhile, former Mighty Barrolle attacker, Weaka Wesseh will be in action today for his 2nd division Egyptian club, AL Mareekh FC. AL Mareekh FC will engage Cement Suez FC in a home clash at the Port Stadium later today.  The club is 9th on the table with 13 points from 9 matches. Although the club is not producing the needed results to win the championship, defeats are being avoided.

The former Mighty Barrolle striker is experiencing his second seasons in the Egyptian league, but yet to register goals as he did in Liberia seasons ago. Weaka is among a few Liberians playing in the Egyptian league. The player is hoping for a better performance, as the league progresses.
