After experiencing a year of international club career, NPA central defender Layee Kamara ended the Maldives premier league with a goal against VB sport Fc in their last league match. Layee has praised the management of NPA for its decision to improve the coaching staff of the club.
Kamara has also expressed his interest to play for the National Under-23 football team of Liberia that drew 1-1 to Sierra Leone early October in Freetown.
He has been rated the best defender for Club AYL ahead of fellow Liberia Thomas Momolu Zubah. Layee is among three Liberians who played in the Maldives premier league that ended last Sunday.
Meanwhile, Thomas Momolu Zubah has arrived in Singapore ahead of his trial date to begin next week with a Singaporean team.
