Man, 45, Commits Suicide at Church

A 45-year-old man is reported to have committed suicide at a local Church in Mombo Town, Bushrod Island in Monrovia.

The suicide victim, only identified as Alfred, was found hung with his neck roped in the church‘s edifice where he had been reportedly seeking spiritual healing for his predicament.

The death of the prayer seeker took the church and community by surprise, with some residents in the area wondering as to why he had to take his life.

The actual cause of death is unknown, but the Pastor of the Church, Sarah Doe, confirmed the incident, expressing sadness for the unfortunate development.

She said that Alfred was at the Church seeking prayer from the prayer warriors (band) for improvement in his life in these times of difficulties.
