Man Arrested With Huge Quantity of Drugs in Nimba

Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) officers in Nimba County have arrested a 45-year-old man for illegal possession of dangerous drugs. Mr. Kekobeh Kamara was recently arrested with 73 parcels of marijuana and some cocaine valued over 10,000 Liberian dollars at the Liberian-Ivorian border in Logoatuo, Gbehlay-Geh District in Nimba County.

DEA agent Adolphus Yallah made the disclosure recently in Sanniquellie in an interview with the Liberia News Agency. Agent Yallah said following a preliminary investigation, suspect Kamara has been transferred to Sanniquellie Central prison, pending trial. The DEA officer said suspect Kamara has been charged with illegal possession of dangerous drugs in Liberia.
