Monrovia FC’s CEO Arrives
Liberia Aziz Kara FC (Liberia-FCAK) now renamed Monrovia FC Norwegian CEO/Owner Wilhelm Myrer arrived at the club yesterday, a week following the arrival of Swedish Coach Johan Sandahl who began job last week.
CEO Wilhelm Myrer is in the country to observe the level of preparations done so far in the pre-season despite the delays by the Liberia Football Association to start the national league, which now expected to commence on December 7 with two phases this season.
Monrovia FC hired Swedish Coach Johan Sandahl has introduced more international playing tactics to the current players at the club, building a log midfield and a shifting defense during occasions of wing attacks, as well as building up pressure.
He has also introduced a new tactical format in equalizing and maintaining goals and technique of portioning the three quarters of each half. The former Darklud FF coach has added more patience; improve his game vision and observation techniques to Monrovia FC center back Archie Harvey defensive aptitude.
Coach Johan Sandahl will be ending his three week assessment trip to the club next week, while the club’s CEO Wilhelm is in town for a week to observe the team for this season.
