Patrolman Wins LoneStar’s Aveo Chevrolet

The LoneStar Communication Corporation has transformed the social standard and perhaps economic life of a police patrolman assigned at the American Embassy here through its weekly raffle draw when the company awarded a brand new Aveo Chevrolet vehicle approximately valued at US$16, 000 over the weekend to Patrolman Samukai J. Barquelleh of the Liberia National Police.

Patrolman Barquelleh was on duty when he received a phone call from LoneStar Cell through one of its agents that he has won a car. From the initial stage, Barquelleh refused to identify himself, but after a heated exchange on the phone, he was eventually convinced and subsequently preceded to the Lonestar Cell sales office on Broad Street to pick up his car.

The company also put smiles on the faces of some of  its many customers over the weekend through the raffle when winners walked away with prizes ranging from a car, Baja Motor Bike, tiger generator, Lion Head Stereo tape, 21’ color television, mobile phones and free air times, amongst others.

Speaking later Patrolman Samukai expressed disbelief that he has become a proud winner of a modern vehicle from LoneStar.  Continuing in tears of joy and excitement, he said, “For a man like me, a common policeman, who never had any idea of this whole thing to win such a big car that my salary cannot even buy is unbelievable. I am proud and I know my family will also be happy with such an after 26 gift from Lonestar Cell. I encourage all of my friends to recharge at least a dollar all the time to stand a chance [of winning].”

Three other subscribers won round trip first class tickets respectively to Ghana. While in Ghana, the company has promised to log them in a Five-Star Hotel plus free feeding and US$500.00 cash.

One of the winners in this category Veronica Ballah, a resident of the Matadi Community in Sinkor, Monrovia expressed serious interest in the trip and thanked the  Lonestar management for initiating the raffle draw, which continues to put smiles on the faces of subscribers.

For his part, James Yargbarzoh, also on the trip to Ghana and an employee of the Buchanan Renewable Energy or BRE said he cannot wait to see himself off to Ghana, as he expressed joy via mobile phone for his victory.   

Meanwhile, the Acting Marketing Manager of LoneStar Communication Corporation Ibrahim Darime, said the company is delighted to share with  subscribers profits accrued in the market, vowing to conduct more raffle draws for its many subscribers.
