PUP upbeat about 2017

Bong County Senator Henry Willie Yallahsays the People’s Unification Party or PUP is moving progressively with eyes set on the Presidency of Liberia. Speaking to this paper over the weekend in Yellequelleh District, Bong Senator Yallah noted that membership of the party has grown over the year.

According to him, consultations are being held across the Country for the future of the party ahead of 2017. The Bong Legislative Caucus Chairman also said the appointment of Dr. Henrique FlomoTokpa as Internal Affairs Minister is a boost for the party and all natives who are supportive of the PUP.

The People’s Unification Party is eying Dr. Henrique FlomoTokpa or Ambassador Jeremiah Sulunteh to contest on the party’s ticket as either Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate in the 2017 elections.

Senator Yallahadded that the PUP is expected to be officially launched in Gbarnga in the first or second week of February with consultation already ongoing. He called on Liberians to support the PUP which provides a platform for indigenous citizens to stir the affairs of the Motherland.
