The Plenary of the Liberian Senate has voted unanimously to set up a nine-member committee styled “the Senate Committee of Inquiry” to investigate recent violent incidents carried out in Duala and New Kru Town, Bushrod Island.

The Senate’s decision came about when Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon stressed the alarming security threats lingering in the Country, as he mentioned the recent stampede that took the lives of 31 people at a crusade in New Kru Town, which was organized by a Pentecostal prelate Apostle Abraham Kromah.
