Sinoe Multilateral School Expels 38

Thirty-eight students of the Sinoe Multilateral High (formerly high) in Greenville, Sinoe County have been expelled for poor academic (failed in more than 2 subjects) performance and indiscipline.

Those affected include twenty-four (24) 11th graders, twelve (12) 10th graders and two (2) 7th graders. They were given letters of Never-To-Return (NTR) during the school’s graduation exercise early this week.

Mr. David Menjay, Principal of the school confirmed the action and said there is no revert. Of the 102 candidates (students) sent by the school to write the just ended academic year public exams (West African Examinations), 29 were successful, while 73 failed.

Meanwhile, Development Superintendent Macdonald Wlemus, has on behalf the county administration awarded two scholarships to the first and second valedictorians of the school for the just ended academic programme.
